Yes, transformer sales have skyrocketed.
The same goes for gas turbines that power data centers; Weichai Power has exported a lot to North America.

Why let the profits go to a Western/Japanese firm? If theres money to be made, best it goes to a Chinese firm. This is not a strategic resource, such as rare earths or other critical minerals.
Think bigger.
No one invest in coal-to-gas industry as much as China. Chinese tech is likely to be world leading.
Another thing is when India has to pay 100 for Western tech instead of 10 for Chinese ones, Indian can only afford to build one or two plants instead of ten to twenty plants. Industrialization will slow greatly.
Higher maintenance costs will mean uncompetitive against Chinese firms.

Dude that was simply because Japan took the unprecedented step of getting involved in Challenging China's sovereignty over Taiwan, and claiming a threat to taiwans security will necessitate the involvement of her defencd forces, something India has never done(they have always stood by the 1 China policy ),in fact not even the US has ever made such remarks. So china had to take drastic measures against Japan. Compared to India, the issue/differences are not that big.
In fact if not for the border issue China and India would have had good ties with no conflicts like they did for thousands of years.
In fact relations were relatively good and business/investment from china was quite good until the deadly clashes in 2020 which set back relations by decades. The funny thing is, as much as the US has tried to use India against China, India has been trying to use the US instead . Lol. India will never be anybody ally. They are too proud and selfish of their independence and sovereignty to ever ally with any power pole . Reason even during the cold war when they were are their weakest and dirt poor, they never really allied with neither side, being a big proponent of the non aligned mouvement instead.To think they will ally with the US or any powerful that mattef when they are far more powerful/stronger today is a fallacy and very naive. Shows that most people dôt really understand îndias Psyche and history well enough. I only know more because i once worked for some time India with my ex employer. So got to learn alot about the country,system and its people.
The fact that the US doesn't seem to understand this is funny. Ironically India relative rise actually benefits China as well indirectly. Since indias rise only contributes to a multi polar world and thus reduces US/Western unipolar influence/dominance of the world automatically, which plays well for China. Don't forget that in this sector, China and indias interests actually match. India has always been calling for a multi par world just like China. The US is obviously against this. So the world is not black and white, there are several inter connected interests between partners/allies/rivals/enemies.

This one I don't disagree with because China puts business first and you'd have to really cross the line to anger China enough to have economic sanctions placed on you. Even then, a sincere apology and a showing in the right direction usually sets things straight very quickly. China does not want to waste time or resources against any country other than the arch nemesis, which is the US.
This is tied to China's philosophy of not indoctrining its people with hatred even towards hostile nations with poor sentiments towards China. It was done long ago because under China's calculation, Chinese people with hatred and hostility are less likely to interact and learn from foreigners. Those interactions yield a net benefit to China from the perspective of Chinese people learning and returning to serve China, so they need to be fostered. In other words, returning foreign hatred with Chinese hatred is a draw, but returning foriegn hatred with brain drain against that country for China is winning against a foe.
Economically, China knows that each partner enriches China; the more bridges we burn, the weaker China becomes, even if the other nation suffers more and the impact to China is very limited. The added effects of many such relations with many small nations will accumulate into significantly greater Chinese national power with which China can face down the United States, or significantly less so the strategy is to keep eyes on the enemy King and ignore insults from pawns unless they cannot be ignored. Even if those small nations remain hostile to China to some extent, China calculates that with superior innovation and management, we can build ourselves and achieve more with what we get from their business than what they can do for themselves with what they get from our business, making the continuation of business a net benefit to China. So just like the example above, for China to cut business ties with a hostile country, it is either a draw or a small Chinese victory if such a small nation is economically harmed into diminished influence, but for China to continue business and use what we get from them to defeat their master, the USA, it is a crushing Chinese victory.
This is why China seems like such a business and benefits first nation.
LPG import into China will be affected by the Gulf disruptions. I tend to think plastics production will be replaced by other feedstocks, but cooking fuel will be different.
I expect China will get a huge windfall from Iran hitting all the Aluminum facilities in the gulf region.
