The Americans have a long history of blaming foreigners for their domestic economic problems. In the 1970s it was OPEC, in the 1980s it was Japan, in the 1990s it was NAFTA and Mexico and now its China.
What this shows you is that America's economic problems has never been about foreigners stiffing the US and it started way before China became a force on the world stage and that the Americans refuse to take responsibility for their own failings.
I mean the American economic problem are result of their own stupidity.
For 40 years, USA enjoyed the privilege of very long interest rate and very high currency valuation. This make their import cheaper, and bring in a long era of very cheap cost of living. Rather than focus their new found wealth and invest in educating their population, USA essentially give up basic education and squander their wealth on unnecessary expenses, and went full in on gender politics.
It is no suprise that east asian citizen (japan, korea, taiwan, china... etc) are all studying very hard, to boost their education and competitiveness of their population. no suprise, american public education on average is the worst of the g7, and no way able to compete with east asia.
economic development and growth is a numbers game, if a country have more STEM, naturally that country will grow faster and out compete other country with full gender politic graduates.
it is good and all with all the tariff and protectionism, but where are they going to find qualify labour to actually continue their production? supply chain was moved to asia, because it was cheaper and more productive (because americans are literally too stupid to do most of the jobs). tariff is not going to solve their problem, and blaming foreigner are not going to solve their own problem. USA is litterally like the end of Qing.
