There is no cosy picture of the economy that's what I wanted to point out. April retail sales -11.1%, May -6.7% there's a chance June will grow. This is the result of the policy, there should be more pro business environment no less, the small enterprises and medium are especially struggling, what data shows and what my contacts with people who have that kind of business tell me.

Good they come, and I think some people who prefer that kind of life, like me would prefer to work in small village than a big city, but from Chinese people I know, they like city vibe, and I doubt many would go back to the villages if they didn't have another choice. And I think most of people who goes back just can't find a job in the cities in China.

Youth Unemployment rate in Chinese cities is rising, and its projected to hit 23%, that's not far from Spain level, a country famous for youngsters who don't work.

In May, youth unemployment hit 18.4%, according to government data released Wednesday, from 13.8% a year ago. The May rate is the highest recorded for youth since 2018, when Chinese officials began releasing the data.

The outlook is expected to worsen among this group, even as the overall jobless rate in urban China edged down to 5.9% in May from April’s 6.1%. A record 10.7 million university graduates will swarm the labor market this year, likely sending the youth jobless rate to 23% in July and August, economists at BofA Securities Inc. estimated in a report.

There was no stimulus for consumption for 2 years, but there was a big stimulus for production in 2020 when covid hit. In 2021 there wasn't and it was a very good year for China, but we are now in 2022.

China's total debt surged similar to the others in 2020, just the stimulus went to a different place, to production so China could supply the world in 2020, and 2021 with real goods for printed money by the west for consumption.

Stimulus that promotes growth is good, stimulus that just fuels short term consumption is inflationary. China's stimulus was necessary to build up export capacities to supply goods for the demand created by American and European stimulus programs.

The China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA), reported this week that the world's total solar cell capacity reached 423.5 GW at the end of 2021, which is 70% more than that the country had at the end of the previous year when total capacity reached 223.9 GW. China's total cell capacity reached 361 GW at the end of last year, according to the association, and total cell production output for 2021 was 197.9 GW.

Chinese manufacturers Tongwei, Longi, JA Solar, Aiko Solar, Trina Solar, Jinko, Runergy, and CSI occupy the first eight positions of the global ranking for solar cell producers, followed by the only non-Chinese company – Hanwha Q Cells – in 9th position and Chinese manufacturer UniePV, which was able to reach 10th position.

China's National Energy Administration (NEA) said on Thursday that around 23.71 GW of new PV installations were installed in the country in the first five months of the year, which brought its cumulative installed PV power to 327.9 GW.

Is Hanwha Q Cells a Korean company ? China need to “knock” it down too and make 10/10 top solar cell producers insist of Chinese company, it must achieve total dominance over the solar cell market.

So chinese students just graduated and youth unemployment rate is high. That's expected. Takes time to find jobs. Let's see if the unemployment rate is still high throughout the year.

BTW as I had posted, 2 MONTHS if lower electricity output is NOT a definition of recession anywhere especially when you cherry picked the lockdown months. Do it certainly seems that your just pulling shit out of your ass. Lol
