I think in the interim China should adopt some Singapore style public housing policy to stabilize prices and increase consumer spending power

Just don't fall into the trap of designing cookie cutter public housing. Public housing in USSR and Singapore etc are very bland and lack design originality. At least for 95% of the projects.

You know I am a great believer in the power of fashion and architecture to bring societal change. I feel Koreans dress too conservatively, Japanese too avant garde and messy. Chinese youths dress very confidently and stylishly. That's good. Hopefully the architecture keeps up and inspires us

I think one trap certain Asians fall into is wearing clothes that don't fit their body type. In Hong Kong and Singapore, a lot of youths wear Western labels like H&M and Cotton On which is meant for the European body type (shorter torso longer legs wider shoulders less wide face). Whereas the brands Chinese youth like like Anti Social Social Club, Moschino etc are actually now geared for the Asian body type. It makes you look more well fitted, confident, and assured.

There's also nothing worse than wearing clothes that do not fit your body type. It decreases people's confidence in you, and make you look like a bumpkin.

Just like living in cookie cutter similar looking concrete buildings makes for a very depressing, dreary existence.

You know sometimes when you watch Chinese TV dramas sometimes the stylist dresses businessmen in waistcoats and it always looks extremely stylish on Chinese men.

The waistcoat goes extremely well with Asian body type, more than with Caucasian type. It neutralizes the bad aspects and accentuates the good aspects. Ie makes your Asian shoulders look broader, make your torso less long looking (since Asians have much longer torsos than Caucasians and Africans), goes well with our generally wide faces, and balances out your torso with the legs. It's a pity only Koreans wear waistcoats often, but of course that's why Koreans these days look so stylish.

More Chinese manufacturers should look into making more eyewear suitable for Asian faces.
That is eyewear with smaller/lower nose bridges and come out with innovative ideas on how to prevent the eyewear from slipping down the face.

We don't wear waistcoats in Singapore.
I really wish people don't tuck in their shirts that their European Colonizers from cold climates walk around in their undershirt in a tropical region.

Unless wearing a coat, waistcoat, blazer or whatever, people in tropical climates should not ape their European Colonizers habit of TUCKING IN THEIR UNDERSHIRT.

In Tropical climates, we wear only 1 shirt, no coat, waistcoat, blazer or whatever.
China should prioritize making clothing more suited for Asians.
Tucking in the shirt results in their being crumpled and restrict our movement.
