At this point economic populism and anti neoliberalism is part of the zeitgeist. Neoliberalism has been reigning over the world for over 4 decades and its down sides are becoming ever more visible. Governments around the world are pushing back with economic populism not just in China. We are simply entering a new phase in the international economic and political order.

China and America has the opposite problem. In China everyone has to listen and no one is allow to speak. In America everyone is speaking and no one is listening.

Not that this really matters economic reporting in both China and The West at this point is not much better than in the old Soviet-Union. Its all driven by nationalism, ideology, politics and wishful thinking.

Yeah, exactly!

That is what I have been blabbing about for a long time.

I think is babble because no one ever responds the way I expect them to.

The world is changing.

But, people tend to not want to see that. They only want to follow the same talking points from the same mouth pieces.

 :D

The Chinese government now want to tackle problems faced by delivery workers in the sharing economy companies.
Many of them do not have social security benefits and are subject to intense algorithm, generating lots of complaints on exploitative labour practices.

This is a world wide problem and when China shows the way, it will have impact on those companies like Amazon, Uber etc in the West too.
