China’s pork crisis sends consumer inflation rising to the brink of Beijing’s limit, highest level in six years

China's producer price index, which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, dropped 1.2% YoY in September, while consumer price index (CPI) rose 3% YoY, the National Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday.
