Recently, a white tiger named Jingjing gave birth to six babies in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

White tigers normally give birth to one to four babies at a time. So it was a rare occurrence when six white tiger babies — two males and four females — born at Enjoy Animal Kingdom, a local animal theme park.
White tigers are a first-class national protected animal in China. A park worker told Zhengzhou Daily that the species has a hard time surviving in the wild because of its lack of protective coloring.
As day and night temperatures vary widely in the spring, the theme park authority set up an insulated box, which is kept at a constant 26 C for the newborns.
Professional zookeepers feed the babies every three hours, simulate the mother tiger's licking by wiping babies' body and massage their belly to to promote defecation. "Based on growth conditions, we will feed them meat paste 40 days after their birth," said Xu Fu, a feeder in the park.

Whenever he has time, a farmer in Beiwu village in Guangping county of Handan, Hebei province, immerses himself in the art of egg-carving, a traditional folk art that involves engraving and painting.
Long Changqing can carve various delicate designs on the shells of ostrich eggs, including figures, animals and scenery.
As he integrates traditional Chinese cultural elements into the carvings, his works are in demand at home and abroad.
Egg carving originated with the custom of giving carved or colored eggs as gifts at weddings and birthday celebrations in ancient times.

Skiing enthusiasts have created a unique way of bidding farewell to the snow season and welcoming spring — stripping off their clothes.
On Sunday, "Naked Pig" skiing festivals were held at Yabuli Sun Mountain Ski Resort in Heilongjiang province and at Beidahu Ski Resort in Jilin city, Jilin province.
The name refers to snowboarders, who are known colloquially as "board pigs". Both events attracted hundreds of skiers and tourists.
