An exhibition running through Nov 25 at the Prince Kung's Palace Museum in Beijing provides a glimpse of royal childhood and youth life of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). [All Photos by Jiang Dong/China Daily]





A new exhibition at the Prince Kung's Palace Museum in Beijing has provided a glimpse of royal childhood and youth in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).



The exhibition also displays calligraphy by the emperors Kangxi (1654-1722) and Qianlong (1711-99), and Empress Dowager Cixi (1835-1908).

Most of the around 120 relics displayed at the exhibition, Joy at Royal Courtyard, are on show for the first time. The exhibits include children's costumes, shoes and hats, toys and articles of daily use, even a baby diaper.[All Photos by Jiang Dong/China Daily]

The 19th Asian Games was held in Hangzhou of Zhejiang province from Sept 23 to Oct 8. By Sept 20, the dine-in orders of the catering industry surged 380 percent from the same period in 2019, according to data from online platforms including Meituan and Dianping.

The rooms of hotels and Minsu (Chinese-style bed-and-breakfast establishments) in the host city Hangzhou, as well as co-host cities including Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing, and Jinhua, almost have sold out.

SHENYANG, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- More than 586 billion yuan (about 81.7 billion U.S. dollars) of investment has been inked at the 2023 Liaoning International Fair of Investment and Trade, which started on Monday in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The event helped the province sign a total of 271 projects with investors after the opening ceremony in Shenyang, the provincial capital, said its organizer.
