They taste great stir fried with garlic or in a light soup. Go get them at your local Jusgo/Great Wall on Bellaire. They're called king oyster mushrooms and were typically $6 a pound. Recently, there was a huge price drop going to $2 a pound, then $1.80, then $1.50, now $1.30; I've been eating the shit out of them for the last 2 months and had no idea why they became so cheap. Saw the pictures, now I know why. Cus Chinese producers just joined the game.
