Recently, China's first bank lobby manager scene training base for intelligent humanoid robots was launched in Shanghai. The robots participating in the training have a highly bionic torso and anthropomorphic motion control and have artificial intelligence technologies such as vision, hearing and voice.





Engineers have carried out training on intelligent humanoid robots in the base, such as business consulting, business distribution, and personalized operation guides for smart teller machines.

Wang Xingang, a resident artist at the China National Academy of Painting, has dedicated decades of his life to honing his craft in the realm of Chinese landscape painting. His journey began in childhood, where his artistic endeavors started garnering recognition through prizes at various competitions and exhibitions.

However, the road of an artist is arduous, marked by numerous challenges that those venturing into the field often find themselves far from mastering.

For Wang, the enduring sources of inspiration and resilience stem from the artistic luminaries of centuries past, who elevated the art of ink to unprecedented heights in their respective eras.





His solo exhibition now on at the Art Museum of China National Academy of Painting shows dozens of landscapes made over the past six years.





The vivid works are evident of his researches of the monumental landscapes of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), as well as the neat composition and elegant colors pursued by Song's court artists in their flower-and-bird paintings.



His work also celebrates the spirituality and aloofness to mark the paintings of bureaucratic-artists in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.[All Photos provided to China Daily]

The 21st Changchun International Auto Expo kicked off in Changchun, the provincial capital of Northeast China's Jilin province on Saturday, the 10-day event lasts until July 22.

The expo attracted 124 enterprises both from home and abroad, with 1,100 car models on display, of them more than 300 were new energy vehicles.

New types of vehicles from brands including FAW Hongqi, Lamborghini and General Motors' Durant Guild make their debut at the show.

The exhibition area covers 170,000 square meters in its main venue at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center. The venue is divided into seven sections for various types of products.

"Yu Zhong Ke 2180" ferry remains the last "water bus" running between Yangdu and Xishan wharfs in Zhongxian County of Chongqing. Every day at 6: 30 a.m., the ferry departs on time carrying farmers with baskets of farm produce to urban area to start their business. Qin Dayi, the 45-year-old captain of the ferry, has sailed on the river for over a decade.

The ferry offers a journey essential to many, though it was once on the verge of vanishing. In 2016, a new expressway reduced the travel time by bus to just 50 minutes, compared to the two-hour boat journey. Most residents switched to bus travel, but many farmers still preferred the boat, which accommodated their bulky baskets and live animals. The fare is also much cheaper.

With the decline in passenger numbers, the fleet of ferries dwindled until only Qin and his partner, Cao Lifang, were left operating the ferry. Despite the financial strain, Qin kept the ticket prices unchanged for over 10 years.

The ferry, carrying the hopes of the farmers and their families, was on the brink of ceasing operations. Qin faced a choice: to sell the boat or to continue running at a loss.
