Over six decades, relic restoration expert Li Yunhe has repaired nearly 4,000 square meters of murals and more than 500 Buddha statues in the Mogao Caves at Dunhuang City, Northwest China’s Gansu Province. Xu Shanshan, an 18-year-old girl who has been blind since early childhood, was admitted to the Special Education College of Changchun University. Xu, born in Tianquan county of Sichuan province, was abandoned by her father for her visual disabilities. However her grandmother insisted on sending her to a special education school in Chengdu when she was seven. After 12 years' hard study, she finally enters her dream school. She hopes to start a band and perform to enrich her college life.

Gongbei Customs handed over 157 cultural relics, including currency from the Warring States (475-221 B.C.) and Han Dynasty (206 BC ? 220 AD) periods, to Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau.
