The world's highest outdoor sightseeing elevator
The Bailong Elevator in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province is 326-meter-high. It has been recognized by the Guinness World Records recently as the highest outdoor sightseeing elevator.

(I was there in Nov last year. It is just spectacular).

Tangshan Int'l Horticultural Exposition 2016 to kick off

Bibimbap made in giant bowl
Bibimbap, a signature Korean dish, is made at a culture and tourism festival in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Northeast China’s Jilin Province, April 24, 2016. The bibimbap was made from four types of rice and other ingredients that weighed about 150 kilograms in total. It was cooked in a giant bowl about one meter high and two meters in diameter.
It only took the group of people about 10 minutes to finish the food.

BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Mei Baojiu, a famous Peking opera performer and son of a legendary Chinese theater mogul, died at the age of 82 on Monday in Beijing.

Mei fell into a coma following a bronchial spasm and died at 11 a.m. in the hospital, according to the Jingju Theater Company of Beijing.

Born on March 29, 1934 in Shanghai, Mei Baojiu was the ninth child and successor of Mei Lanfang, one of the most respected Chinese artists of the 20th century and creator of the "Mei School" style of Peking opera.

Mei Baojiu was the head of Mei Lanfang Peking opera troupe under the Jingju Theater Company of Beijing. He was famous for his performance in such classical plays as "Farewell My Concubine," "Lady General Mu Takes Command," and "The Drunken Beauty."

Longhu Mountain Resort in Jiangxi
Located in Guixi City, Longhu Mountain Resort is the birthplace of Taoism. It is particularly important to the Zhengyi Dao as it the Shangqing Temple and the Mansion of the Taoist Master are located here. In addition, it has numerous scenic spots, including Yingtian Mountain, Hongwu Lake, Fairy Water Cliff and Longhu Maintain. As a World Heritage List, it features green hills and blue water. Mountains and lakes are surrounded by clouds and mist in the morning, creating a truly inspiring vista.
