The Porcelain Tower of Nanjing, also known as "Bao'en Temple", which means "Temple of Gratitude", was ranked one of the Seven Wonders of the World during medieval times. The tower was first built during the reign of Chinese Emperor Yong Le (1403-1425) in the Ming Dynasty for his mother. But it was completely destroyed during the war between the Qing Imperial Court and the Taiping rebels in 1856. (Xinhua/Sun Can)

Winter view of Puzhehei in Yunnan
Photos taken on December 15,2015 show the winter scenery of Puzhehei in Northwest Qiubei county, Zhuang-miao autonomous prefecture in Wenshan, Yunnan province.

Puzhehei is a scenic spot with many places for camping among areas surrounded by big lakes which are the most popular with visitors. Its beauty lies not only in its natural landscape such as karst lakes, peaks and canyon views, but also in man-made features such as ancient rock paintings, revolution commemorations and unique ethnic customs.
