I bet it will catch on all over Asia and Southeast Asia first as it is more custom to keep a pale skin complexion over there. It'll be useful for people with skin diseases who wants to go out and enjoy the beach without being exposed to the sun too much.

Endangered snow leopard appears at Tibetan village in Himalayas
Photo taken on July 14, 2015 shows a snow leopard appearing in the Himalayas at an altitude of about 3900m in Woma Village, five km from Jilong Town of Shigatse City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
