In all honesty it is quite possible. I have flown Asian airlines before and the air stewardess are definitely more hmm nubile than their Western counterparts. As a matter a fact that was one of the biggest difference I noticed when I flew JAL and transitioned to Delta for the domestic portion ... was how different they were. JAL = skinny attractive 20 something willing to serve, Delta = 50ish women with attitude.

Hehe, dangerously un-PC, but truth's a good defense.

My sister in law is an hostess for Delta. She's about 40 and still very attractive. She's tall about 5'9". Anyway the reason you see so many "mature" airline hostesses on US based airlines is Unions. You can't fire them as they are vested.
Public employee unions and their cohorts in government and the lamestream media have run California into the ground, but maybe, just maybe the latest court victory over the Teachers Union would lead to something.

Oh common now, my uncle works for the government of California and he's about a few years away from retirement with full pension.

I went to an international conference in Europe with my mentor and another student in the lab when I was in grad school. When we landed and just got out the gate, my mentor who was still single at the time spotted a group of stewardess from some European airline. At that point, he simply refused to move an inch. We had to pull him away... He walked a few steps and looked back, walked a few steps and looked back. He said to me that he wished our domestic flight stewardess could be as cute as these girls. Then the girl who came with us gave us this nasty look. I had to explain to her that I wasn't looking and that I was simply trying to pull my boss away...

In this June 9, 2014 photo, officers from Hong Kong Police’s organized crime and triad bureau, display stacks of cash seized after they launched an operation with counterparts in mainland China to smash a cross-border illegal gambling syndicate days before the start of the World Cup in Brazil. As teams battle for glory at football’s biggest event, the biggest winners may be Asia’s illegal bookmakers, who are thriving because demand from sports fans to place bets is surging but legal options are few. Government monopoly operators offer legal sports betting in a handful of Asian jurisdictions but there are thousands more black market operators. Asia accounts for just over half of the nearly $700 billion in illegal bets placed worldwide each year, according to a sports monitoring group. (AP Photo)

Those red coats Guards of Honor sure do look sharped and squared away. I like how they use bull pup rifles and bayonets as a more modern weapon for pomp and ceremony.

Cambodian migrant workers wait to cross the border at Aranyaprathet in Sa Kaew June 15, 2014. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) estimates that over the past week 100,000 Cambodians have poured over the border, as the military that seized power in a May 22 coup intensifies lax measures to regulate illegal labour. The military's ruling National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) insists Cambodians are leaving of their own accord and said 60,000 had crossed the border as of Saturday.
