No Popeye, the Lakers have a HUGE fan base world wide buddy. If you want to see Lakers jerseys in China go to any major city basketball playground in the mainland and you'll see lots of Kobe Bryant jerseys don by young Chinese teens. The same goes in Taiwan as well.

Sad!!! I thought they would at least get in th 2nd round. and the thing was they had been beating th blazers all season. They simply choked. Let's hope they get better next season.

Actually if they can get a few star players to join Kobe they can go deep in the playoffs. Lebron James and Chris Bosh will be a free agent at the end the season are just two possible prospects.

Kobe is getting old. There is no way James and Bosh will leave Miami to join Kobe. They got a good thing going in Miami now. There is no way they would leave the certain good situation in Miami and go to LA to get into something completely unknown. In addition to the stars, you have to have a good supporting cast. It took Miami years to put together a complete team. LA has neither the star power nor the good supporting cast. LA is a complete mess. Sorry Popeye
