A man is accused of stealing a credit card from a hit-run victim as she lay dead on the street, Hamilton Police say.

Jiao Shi Qi, 20, was struck Sept. 18, 2011, around 2:30 a.m. by a vehicle while crossing Main St. E. near Catherine St. S. in Hamilton. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The impact sent her personal items flying several metres down the street, police said Monday, noting they were not found during the investigation of the collision.

Police continued to pursue the items, which included the victim’s purse and wallet, and credit cards belonging to both her and her boyfriend.

Their search led them to arrest a Hamilton man Jan. 3 at his home.

Jason Dave Trotter, 29, is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, theft under $5,000 and possession under $5,000. He was released on a promise to appear.

The Chinese embassy should issued high security alert to all Chinese tourists going to Italy and listed Italy as danger zone, the Italians would solved the case in no time.

BEIJING (AP) — Up to 13,000 police officers in China are hunting for a man suspected of a series of robberies and shootings.

The hunt in Nanjing in eastern Jiangsu province centers on Zeng Kaigui. Chinese state media say Zeng is suspected to have killed a man who withdrew money from a bank and robbed him of 200,000 yuan ($31,700) cash on Friday.

The reports say 13,000 officers have been mobilized in the search. Teams of police are walking through buses with a photo of Zeng, as well as checking train stations, bus stops and ports, and searching Internet cafes and hotels.

The 42-year-old Zeng is suspected of killing at least six people.

Calls to Nanjing police rang unanswered Tuesday.

Fishnet stockings, boots, and low cut dresses alone spells 'ladies of the night'.

That's a great piece of lego work there, although I'm sure our members can named just a few dozen thing that's wrong with that model (besides the name 'Varyag').
