Chinese cruise and anti-ship missiles

That's actually quite an upgrade for Shenzhen DDG167, now become very powerful DDG (even near 25 yrs old). Wondering whether the radar on 167 has the range to guide the maximum range of YJ-12 .. or need other DDG (i.e 052D or 055) to guide them ?
i think common sense should tell you that no surface combatant has that kind of range for anti ship missile guidance. 167 will have to rely on another aerial platform for guidance.

I have a Question
Can someone explain to me why Anti-ship variant of CJ-10 only have 800km range while the Land Attack version have 1500+km range.
Is it because Subsonic anti-ship missiles need to fly lower;thus, more drag. Or is there a mistake in those number?

Because it's Wikipedia and they are wrong.

Not sure if right thread, but do we know what is the current anti-radiation missile China is using?

That doesn't answer my question lol.

My guess is that both the Land Attack and Anti-Ship version of CJ-10 have the same 1500-2500km range.
Does anyone have any sources to help me confirm?

it makes sense that the anti-ship version is considerably shorter range because it is hitting a moving target. i believe it is the same thing with tomahawk, the anti ship version of that has much shorter range too.

Okay, so I'll elaborate a little.

When I say wikipedia is wrong, I meant that the entire page is filled with mistakes which makes the questions you ask come from a potentially incorrect starting point, resulting in answers which need to address the bad quality statements written on wikipedia to begin with.

I'll list them off:
1. We are not sure if CJ-10 is even the correct name for the missile; DF-10 seems to be the name for the land/TEL launched version and KD-20 seems to be the name for the air (H-6K/J/N) launched version
2. We do not know the true effective ranges for either the DF-10 or KD-20; we only have some estimated guesses
3. We are not sure if an anti-ship version of the DF-10 and KD-20 even exists to begin with
4. "YJ-100" is not a designation we are currently using for any type of PLA missile that we know about. It is possible that it is referring to the DF-100 which is a large, land/TEL launched supersonic cruise missile, but is absolutely too large to be fired from the UVLS and is in a completely different size and weight class to DF-10/KD-20. Oh and for DF-100 we do not know what its effective range is either; we don't even have any decent range estimates for it. And no,

That's kind of what I mean by "it's Wikipedia and it's wrong" -- i.e.: the page should be actively ignored and pretend it doesn't exist, because by acknowledging its existence and reading its contents and entertaining some of it as possible, it results in questions being formed from a context which doesn't make any sense to begin with.
