DF-10A
Hi shanlung,Was that a missed hit?
They were aiming for dead center of the window.
That DF10 can be seen hitting just below that window
Hi shanlung,
Hahaha!!!This building is being hit multiple times at the same place at that, see the building before being hit, its plastered, so the accuracy seems to be at 90% plus.
I need some basic education here. Is the building made of wooden blocks or cardboards? Given the lightweight (and flexible materials for the missile body) of cruise missiles, I wonder how they penetrate such thick layers of cements and detonate inside at subsonic speed...Screen captures of old footage of DF-10 landing on target.
It's concrete and brick construction, you just need to zoom in.I need some basic education here. Is the building made of wooden blocks or cardboards? Zinc Sulfide windows are used by IR detectors inside Hypersonic vehicles to look out, and see through the friction generated heat from the atmosphere.I'm not sure where this slide comes from, so I can't vouch for its credibility. It hints that a certain "strategic cruise missile" has optical windows. Whether the missile in question is DF-100 or the image is simply there for illustration purposes, I have no idea.
