The world's first megawatt-class high-altitude wind power system designed for urban deployment — the S2000 Stratosphere Airborne Wind Energy System (SAWES) — successfully completed a test flight in Yibin, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Monday.
Featuring a simpler structure, lower land requirements, and reduced environmental impact, the S2000 SAWES can be deployed at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters, with a single-unit power output of about 3 megawatts.

European pilots have begun C919 test flights for EU certification purposes.

Two test pilots from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have conducted verification flights, according to a source with knowledge of the arrangements. Meanwhile, senior foreign pilots working in China have been deployed to help demonstrate the C919’s reliability. The moves, following a delay in the high-stakes certification process last year, were part of ongoing exchanges between Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) – the C919’s manufacturer – and the European regulator, the source said.

2025年初,我国大语言模型爆发,越来越多的人关注到了AI技术。但早在2021年,成飞已在布局AI技术的工业化场景应用。

先进航空装备的制造环境存在互联感知不足、数据多源异构、制造专业难贯通、运营管控难融合等困难和挑战。为了解决这一系列问题,成飞全面启动航空人工智能技术探索与工程应用工作,聚焦“AI全面赋能”目标,自主研发了企业级人工智能开放平台——成飞易智,通过打造航空制造领域垂类模型,开发AI研发工具链,实现场景、算力、算法的共建共享共用,从而推进面向复杂装备研发设计、生产作业、生产管理等业务与AI深度融合。

数控制造 有“大脑”的“黑灯工厂”

在成飞数控制造厂房,几十台数控机床的自动化生产线可以24小时作业,通过智能生产模式,只需要原来十分之一的工人,就可以在相同的时间内完成同样的生产任务。

成飞数控制造单位负责人回忆,2014年他刚到厂里的时候,当时的人机比是2:1或者3:1,也就是一台机床需要两到三个操作人员。近年来,成飞以高度自动化、数字化、智能化为核心理念,实现了物流自动配送、自动化加工、加工状态智能监控等多项关键能力突破,推动飞机结构件数控加工实现了从单点应用、单元集成、成组连线到卓越示范的“进化”历程。
