Will the MA700 be free of Western components so it can be sold to US sanctioned countries?
Russia is developing the Il-114 but I am certain there would be a lot of demand for MA700 as an export product.
program has been delayed due to sanctions and Engine blockade.. this latest news indicate, MA-700 program going as per the plan. Engine has been sorted out. likely to powered by AEP-400.

MA-700 program initiated to replace older MA-60 also for low cost airliners, plus this type of aircraft is perfectly fit for small island countries.

Despite average performance, MA-60 did perform well in export market. sold to 9 different countries. so yeah MA-700 has potential.

This is a really interesting data point of China's fast iteration development approach moving from phones and EVs to military aircraft and aviation industry as a whole. And if we look at all the new aerospace designs and engines that have come out, especially in unmanned realm, it explains how we are seeing so much rapid innovation

China's modified AG50 light-sport aircraft has received its first order—two units to be delivered to a Shandong-based company by the end of 2025—marking its official entry into the market, the developer announced Thursday.
Compared with its predecessor, the upgraded AG50 features an enlarged wing fuel tank, which extends its maximum range from 650 km to 1,200 km, making it well-suited for air sports, agricultural and forestry operations, flight training, and private flight.
