The references I could find claim that picture was taken at the PLAAF Changchun Airshow 2023. Most references have this watermark. But I don't know if that is the author or someone who reposted the image.

The watermark seems to refer to an user in this website:

Thanks, but this image is slightly different … also a different J-20 in front, but I found it: by „B747SPNKG“

China's defence ministry states that a 'YU-20' tanker is joining the August 1st team in Riyadh. If I'm correct, this will be the international airshow debut for the Y-20 family? Also, I see this variant referred to as YY-20, Y-20U, and now YU-20. Is there any consensus about the designation of this variant?

AVIC calls it YY-20. Usage of U isn't from PLAAF or AVIC, so I think people should follow the official label whenever available. BTW, usage of U is really wrong in every way, it is neither Chinese Pinyin nor English.

The YY-20 and YU-20 discussion made me ponder whether the HU-6 is the official PLAAF designation for 轰油6 (Hong You 6)? Or is HU-6 or H6-U a creation by netizen?

Using prefix of pinyin as in every other aircraft types in normal practice by PLAAF/PLAN air regiment/brigades, should it not be designated as HY6?
