China's transport, tanker & heavy lift aircraft

Notice that we can still see the runway in the spaces betwen the columns of that struture. That struture is not a wall. If we can see betwen the columns, why cant we see the rest of the plane immedialy below the tail? That tail is litteraly suspended in the air with nothing holding it!
Easily top 3 stupidest conclusions I've ever seen anyone draw from a picture on SDF if not the stupidest of all time.

Real or PS? Looks like bad PS to me, but I could be wrong.

We've been fooled by worse fakes before, and there have been real pictures that have looked even less convincing and poorer quality than this as well.

If there was a specific image of a Y-20 from this specific angle that this could have been doctored from, it would be a smoking gun, but I doubt we'd find one.

However, it looks like this image is taken from a video app (there seems to be a circular douyin or other shortform video app profile, which is cut out on the right side of the image), so if this is real then perhaps this is just a screenshot of a video.
And if there's a video showing the aircraft in movement -- well it goes without saying that videos are much harder to doctor or fake.

Also, if this is real, the low profile roundel on the fuselage and serial number on the tail corresponds with other Y-20As of late, which we would expect the in service Y-20Bs to be the same.

Overall, the quality is too poor for us to tell at a glance, so the jury is still out.

There is a series of CGs around made by a guy once named Q30 or similar at Weibo … it is 100% for sure not real

You mean this guy?

I agree, those were certainly fake, and it's possible that this image is from him, but do we know that it is a result of his work?

Edit:

Original pic found, is indeed a CGI.
Looks like someone deliberately blurred the CGI, added a cropped out profile, to make it seem more authentic.

So, can it do 2 refuelling at the same time? I don't see that in the video

Yes.

Just because they didn't both connect to the drogue in the video doesn't mean the aircraft isn't designed for it.

Like seriously, if the tanker is unable to refuel two aircraft at the same time, then why would they bother doing formation training with two aircraft behind it with two drogues unreeled? Wouldn't that sort of flight training just be a waste of time for everyone?

I ask all of the above, because I'm surprised you would ask the question when thinking a few extra steps would have yielded a likely answer to you.

But sure. Here, with two J-16s refuelling connected, at the same time:
