The Aviadvigatel PD-14 engine just received certification from the Russian aircraft authorities. It should enter production next year. That is another option for the Y-20 in case the WS-20 engine suffers from further delays. The PD-14 has both more thrust and much less fuel consumption than the D-30 engine and was developed to replace it and the more modern PS-90 in subsonic applications. Or, who knows, maybe the PS-90 will become more widely available for direct sales in case they want to reserve PD-14 engine production for the MC-21.
