China's transport, tanker & heavy lift aircraft - esp. Y-20/YY-20

Y-20 would move to 100 ton load capacity with in 2020-27. And twin engine WS-20 (or it's derivative) Y-15 would have higher speed than Y-20. It would be better suited for 40-45 ton capacity. It all depends upon the dynamics of circumstances in defense environment.
I will be kind. You should read more on aviation. None of these here are possible. You cannot increase the payload by 50% stretching the fuselage. You cannot just replace the engines let alone go from turboprops to turbojets without many second and third order effects. A twin WS-20 would not reach the speed of the Y-20 because the Y-15 has straight wings which suck over M0.7. Furthermore, increasing the thrust doesn't increase the payload on its own because the aircraft's structure has to be able to cope with increased stress.

Photos of the test flight of the new medium-sized transport aircraft (videos are also available, but I don't know how to attach them so just ask others)

Posting this not because it has any new information about the Y-30, but because it cites @Deino as the source! Quite the superstar!

From a channel called "Mighty Military." I wonder is it hosted by an SDF reader?

The design of the plane is very close to C-130J rather than A400M

And it's not called the Y-30

It's a shame that A400M and C-130J are the only barometer relevant transports most people are aware of.

Personally I suspect when all the details come out, that KC-390 will be closest to this aircraft in payload close.

I must say I preferred it back in the day when artists would take effort to draw a speculative paint scheme or depiction of a brand new aircraft rather than just taking the output from generative AI, even if a drawing was quick and dirty.

It really is so soulless and even with open acknowledgement of its AI status it just ends up muddying the waters a bit.
Or even making a 3d Model. I would try but it wouldn't look half as good as what the AI makes nowadays due to my inexperience with texture mapping.

Payload class, but KC-390 is a jet, and not a STOL one(reasonable, but nothing outstanding in this regard). Completely different set of properties. Here we have a straight wing with well developed control surfaces(low speed lift and control),
I.e. C-130J is indeed the by far the most relevant barometer.
