China is building the world’s largest steerable telescope, called QTT​

• The giant eye on the sky will be able to point in any direction over the northern hemisphere when completed in about six years
• Project led by the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory will help answer scientific questions and guide China’s space exploration

It's too early to make such decision. The message came out almost five weeks before the launch date.

I saw Neil Degrasse Tyson on the Stephen Colbert Show and he said the only reason the US is going back to the moon is because China said they were going to the moon. So he's hoping China says they're going to Mars whether it's true or not and the US will be on it's way to Mars in a year.
