Update: SHIJIAN-21 & 25 RPO

Given the relatively short duration (~1.5 hours) of this close encounter, we have identified three potential scenarios:

• SJ-21 and SJ-25 successfully docked during that time period;
• SJ-21 and SJ-25 conducted a deliberate rehearsal maneuver but did not attempt docking;
• SJ-21 and SJ-25 initiated a docking attempt but aborted during final approach.

Why are you particularly ask "this month"? I haven't heard any news of such test. BTW the test will be simulated in a rig because of the earth gravity is 6 times of moon.

If I remember correctly @by78 posted a tender of constructing that rig not long ago. If we know when maybe we can guess the time frame of the test.

Probably in that ballpark yes. Much less than the 200g+ impacting the ground without such a system.
