Now Ludi Tance-4 is here. Does anyone know what area does it cover for its intended work (forming synthetic apature on intended target area). Is it the area on the sides (east and west) of the 8 shape? That would be Indian ocean and south-east Asia. Should we expect it to move somewhere else in another time?
Here’s a good YouTube video that came out a few days ago that goes into the exact details of the Ludi Tance-4 SAR satellite, orbital mechanics and strategic ramifications. Should answer most of those questions. Disclaimer- I can’t speak much for the channel, but this specific video was fairly factual given my limited understanding of recon satellites and rocketscience

kill “chain” is actually a misnomer because it implies breaking one link defeats the entire process. This is more like a strand in a kill “net” (or node in a kill network) where there are multiple components to provide systematic redundancy - GEOS, LEOS, aircraft, over the horizon radar, drones, subsurface drones, signals intelligence, sonar networks, human intel, etc

You need to read Chinese literature to know that this 12m aluminum alloy ring is rolled. Not necessarily used for heavy rockets.
