I read docking will be 6.5 hours after launch, is that correct?
It seems really quick. Doesn't Soyuz take like 3 days to dock with ISS?
That was likely governed by the orbit of the docking target, not the vintage of the design. There seems to be no real advantage to docking sooner If taking time saves fuel and increased payload. The old Soyuz took 2 days or more to dock with the space station.
More modern variants have shortened that time to 6 hours or less:

The Shenzhou-12 will be launched by June and Shenzhou-13 by October, Shenzhou-14 by May 2022, all by CZ-2F.When is the first crewed mission of the next generation Chinese manned spacecraft? And would it be a ferrying mission to the Tiamgong?
