It could be that the Beidou satellite was launched to a higher sun synchronous or geostationary orbit. The Long March 3B may not have the payload capacity to launch 2 or 3 of the heavier Beidou satellites to these higher orbits.
ISS is locked now. No major new modules no new massive expansion the Russians and the US have atleast two new modules like the BEAM and the Uzlovoy Module they will trial, but the Only way the PRC can join in now it to barrow space in someone else's modules.Good to see US and China breaking ice on space cooperation, but I don't expect it to go very far, as long as China is banned from the International Space Station.

But, is it stolen technology or China's own development and innovation? And this is the first Beidou with Hydrogen atom clock (active hydrogen maser). Boy ... China is getting more and more advanced every day
who knows ? ..... does it really matter? But, is it stolen technology or China's own development and innovation?
But, is it stolen technology or China's own development and innovation?
Well yes, as a matter of fact it does matter. China needs to innovate to get past the "middle-income trap," so while stealing and copying technology are shortcuts from poor to middle-class, invention and innovation are the drivers to the top.who knows ? ..... does it really matter?

China's own development and innovation of course, whether it's over seas or in the mainland.
