These pics came out like two weeks ago and I read a separate article on the worms. It was a glancing read somewhere. I only posted them because of the discussion in here about sending people to the moon. BTW I didn't say they only survived on worms. I said their only source of protein was worms. If you see the pic, they have a garden for vegetables. If they're testing long endurance missions, it's not like there's a McDonald's they can go to. So where else would they get a sustainable source of protein?

That may be possible, but if we're talking about sending/assembling something of this size on the moon or mars it may be some time away yet.

It can be send ahead of time and pre assembled before the astronauts arrive at their own ship.

Tiangong 2 to be launched next year. And also first launch of long march 5 next year with rocket diametre increased to 5m.
