And that's not even from the original image data file. It looks like the image has been recaptured from a news media and saved into another file. I guess only the Chinese scientists/experts have access to the highest quality pictures. Hopefully we too will get to see these high quality pictures soon.

You think the Yutu can visit the old Apollo 11 landing site and debunk the myth that Apollo 11 never landed on the moon? :p:p. Sadly, about 20% of the American population does not believe that Apollo 11 ever landed on the moon even though there is indisputable proof deminstrating with 120% certainty that they did land on the moon, like the famous mirror. It would be great if Yutu can go there and send back some pictorial proof of the Apollo 11 landing, to permanently shut those doubters up. It's one thing for NASA to present the proof, but completely different for the Chinese to show evidence of the landing. It might too far though...

Yeah, like the Apollo hoaxers and other conspiracy theorists would be persuaded by something so mundane as evidence.

Its not like they would believe the Chinese government. They would claim that the PRC is in on the conspiracy or some bull.
I mean the lunar hoax group does not even believe Russia.

I mean really if the US had faked it why then would the USSR have played along? Russia was looking for any and every opportunity to rub the capitalist and particularly the American Nose in its own failures. When Yuri Gagarin flew they offered to "assist" the American people in there failing space programs as a propaganda coup.
The Russians had every reason to pull the rug out from a America hoax they also had every capacity to collect evidence of such. They even had a lunar lander in operation the same time as Neil and Buzz were walking. So if it had been a fake that would have been a golden opportunity for Soviet propaganda. Yet they didn't find evidence of falsehood they found evidence of human achievement, and so when Video was beamed back of man walking on the moon the Russians too aired it and applauded.

That's because those conspiracy theorists are smoking some high quality hash (pure marijuana shaped into tiny cubes for pipe smoking) to not believe in the moon landing.

Yah, but most "serious" hoaxers believe in the surrogate astronaut theory. Basically this theory says that the Van Allen radiation belt and the high levels of radiation on the moon as well as risk of solar flare while on the lunar surface means that it was not possible to get a man safely to and back from the moon. It was only possible to get men there and back, but who were to die shortly afterwards similar to the Fukushima first responders. Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins were kept in a low Earth orbit (either from another rocket launch or on board high flying jet) an "returned" safely back to Earth with no radiation damage. The real men who went to the moon were quarantined and soon died for their country out of sight while Armstrong et al took the glory. All the lunar broadcasts were real of course. It's just that the hoax was on a more subtle level.

Conspiracy theory yes, but stranger things have happened.
