Long time ago there were statements that new Wentian arm will be combined to existed one, creating single extended arm... I doubt they would sacrifice that much weight and engineering for just single usage.
You are talking about another arm. This is placed on the side of the module.

eprash's question was about this arm at the docking end of the module.

The two arms have different locking interfaces, not compatible with one another, see the blue circled head. This locking head is "single usage".

The red circled device MAY be a attachment interface that can be used by the 1st arm. That is only a maybe because it does not resemble the other locking port on the core module. Even it is, the "lyappa" arm itself is almost certain to be fixed in position for most of its live.

I got it now, i didnt know it has 2 arms.
Any news about Wentian rendezvous with css? According to some articles after launch, it supposed to rendezvous several hours fter launch. Still no any news about that?
