Yeah China cannot track a plane it will need thousand of satellite according to our resident expert with his mambo jambo theory

In another test to verify the performance of space-based AI, the same satellite automatically detected and obtained the coordinates of military aircraft, naval ships and strategic assets such as oil storage tanks in northeastern Australia.
The researchers did not name the satellite reported in their paper. Yang could not be reached for comment.

Several small satellites launched by Chinese universities, government institutes and private companies in recent years have employed AI to improve China’s response to events happening around the world, according to openly available information.

Yang and her colleagues said the smart satellite could increase the communication efficiency with home by a million times because the AI would remove most of the junk information that jammed the communication channels.

China also has a plan to bring AI to its older remote sensing satellites, according to researchers involved in StarNet, an global internet satellite project launched by the Chinese government last year.
No offense but do you need a reading teacher or just want me repeating again the difference between consistent AEW and ‘detecting sometimes’?

Now who said that china need consistent AEW? it was you that put it in my mouth. But wait couple more year they might be able to so just that with fewer satellite. You just can't predict the future even with your mambo jumbo theory.
I already see the progression first they say they couldn't hit a moving ship then they tested it Now they they couldn't find it .Well this news definitely proof they can find it Automatically too and TRACKIT TOO! SEE!

You mentioned ‘thousands of satellites’, that’s what I said for AEW protecting silos. Indeed just before your post I mentioned it’s possible for now to detect attack axis of bombers from Guam with current satellites, so perhaps what you really need is an ophthalmologist?

I wouldn’t reply to the satellites AEW argument anymore.

Seven hours after it was laucned from Wenchang, the Tianzhou-4 cargoship automatically docked at the Tiangong spacestation.

Tianzhou-4 demos that China can send spacecrafts to reach objects in low orbit in just a few hours. And China is to shorten the time further. The final goal is to cut it down to only 2 hours and 15 minutes since the moment of launch.

Imagine if such a spacecraft carries a big chain saw, or a big fishing net.

航天科技集团五院货运飞船系统副总指挥 李志辉:今后我们的目标是两个小时进行快速交会对接,比6.5个小时还要减少4.5个小时,从发射那一刻算,基本上两个小时15分钟就可以对接上去。
