Xuntian is a telescope + propulsion module + docking mechanism, essentially a miniature autonomous space station in its own right. Hubble is just a telescope. Xuntian can dock to CSS and be serviced and refuelled. It has the capability of orbit keeping by itself.
Probably a good measure for repairs.

Two newly released images taken from the Chinese space station.

Turns out the Shenzhou-13 crew recently did a whole Q&A session with students all cross the US.
I noticed on some of the interior shots showing an increase in clutter. Compared to previous states of the station, more wires and just basic stuff seem to hang out more from the walls.

Looks like the place is getting lived in.

PLA ISR sats fleet expansion have been incredible. Just last year I count 43 military sat launched
As of January 2022, China’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) satellite fleet “contained more than 250 systems—a quantity second only to the United States,” the report says. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) now owns/operates “about half of the world’s ISR systems, most of which could support monitoring, tracking, and targeting of U.S. and allied forces worldwide, especially throughout the Indo-Pacific region.”

Some Interesting parts:
It “probably” also is developing jammers specifically to target SATCOM and SAR — with the latter “very likely” aimed at protecting “terrestrial assets by denying imagery and targeting in any potential conflict involving the United States or its allies.”
The PLA further “has multiple ground-based laser weapons of varying power levels to disrupt, degrade, or damage satellites that include a current limited capability to employ laser systems against satellite sensors. By the mid- to late-2020s, China may field higher power systems that extend the threat to the structures of nonoptical satellites.”
