You're far off base on Trump's Cabinet composing of white and "white washed" good ole boys/gals, and even a cursory look at them would show otherwise. The link I provided outlined Trump's Cabinet picks, and I'll list it again for your reference, and I suggest you actually read it.It is full of white guys and gals thinking like him, even the minority ones are "white washed". I don't know where did you get the idea it is otherwise. My underlying point is that the cabinets are all part of the "good ole boys running the show like back in the ole days" type of people. Now as far as Trump getting criticized by the public and media (both liberal and conservative) that is his fault and no one else.
What does Donald Trump's Cabinet selection tells us? It shows a wide range of very accomplished and capable men and women who are mostly pro globalization and free trade. That's opposite of Trump's views and it's an open question how they rectify their own views while carrying out the President's anti-globalization policies. Some other contradictions with Trump are:
- Most of the Cabinet nominees were pro-free trade, and many of them had extensive business dealings with countries on Trump's blacklist (it'd be interesting to see how they mesh with Trump's stated policies on globalism and free trade)
- Unlike Trump, most of the nominees haven't resorted to xenophobic or race-baiting rhetoric for political purposes
- Some nominees are part of the political establishment elites Trump railed against, and others are 'Wall Street fat cats' Trump claimed he despises
- There's scant evidence any of the nominees are racists
- Some of the nominees are/were neocons, exactly opposite of Trump
- Some of the minority nominees are traditionally targets of 'good ole boys.' Gov. Nikki Haley was directly attacked by her election opponent for her Indian heritage
