China's SCS Strategy Thread

I dont see why PLAN carriers should be fighting in the SCS. PLAAF and PLARF should be taking out the entire Philippine military using its strike aircraft and ground based missiles. J-20 and flankers should have enough range to attack most of the phillipines from Hainan. They could extend that range further from air fields in the SCS island bases. H6Ks and JH-7s will also do further strikes.

PLAN's role could be to augment that attack from its own naval land attack missiles, but probably not necessary. They can also attack from the east, which could add one more attack vector.

The idea will be to dismantle entire PH military in a week. If there is war that is.
What military? The Filipino Air Force has 12x FA-50s and these will not be flying sorties against the PLA. The Navy has three whole frigates and these also won't be going up against China. The Army is more substantial but it's not going to be doing a whole lot unless they're good at swimming 100+ km.
