I think there are South Korean shipyards operating in the Phillipines if I am not mistaken.
Hanjin shipyard in Subic, already closed and had been sold.

Officials in the Philippines hailed the announcement that U.S. private equity firm Cerberus and South Korea’s HD Hyundai Heavy Industries have completed a strategic partnership agreement for shipbuilding operations at the former Subic facility. China's first real shooting war will not be against Taiwan, it will be against the Philippines. They are becoming too arrogant.

Sooner or later China will have to fight a small scale skirmish to teach Philippines a lesson.

why?, just let them be arrogant, nobody cares. I think they want to be attacked by China to get a big brownie points from the master daddy
