Power generation projects under the CPEC...
Under the China cooperation and Economic Transit, the power generation projects have begun to complete. In the last 10 days, three major projects comes online in the National Grid means the production of more than two thousand MW power generation.
14 large projects of power generation soon under the cost of $ 46 billion under CPEC. They will generate more than 11,000 MW and more than 25,000 MW projects are being discussed.
Similarly, a total of 14,000 MW power generation projects are included in CPEC. Sahiwal Coal Power Plant is the first complete power plant under the CPEC. The total 1320 MW power plant, this plant is completed in a 22-month record period.
1230 MW capacity of Haveli Bahadur Shah in Jhang district in southern Punjab is a gas plant. Its first 760 MW unit has started generating electricity. The remaining 400 MW unit will be built in December.
The construction of the first unit of 660 MW power generation from Thar coal reservoirs in Sindh has also been constructed.
The coal power plant of 1300 MW capacity is built under Port Qasim of Karachi.
Solar power generation project in Bahawalpur is providing 300 MW power is also attached to the National Grid.
Under the ongoing CPEC cooperation, the fourth plant of nuclear power near Munawali has also started producing electricity.
