"People’s Liberation Army is now dishing out advice after one city saw more than half its candidates — 56.9 percent — fail their physicals"

The Chinese military says excessive masturbation and too many video games are among the reasons its physical-test failure rates have reached an “alarming high.”

These are for candidates applying to join the military.

Why should I bother? Every year, the military would list a ton of problems of its new recruits and why many don't qualify. Most of them are just a copy and paste from previous years and a few new additions. Every military in the world needs to deal with same shits. There are always many reasons why people don't qualify. If Murdock's NYP wanted to emphasize it, so be it.

The military and the grass-root level party body do their best to arrange dating and omiai (お見合い, aka. 相亲) events for enlisted soldiers and officers. PLA servicemen have significantly higher than average marriage and fertility rate.

Well, I can't stand the sight of people killed brutally by war. I have many friends who are Ukrainian and Russian, although it is fun bickering back and forth about politics, I don't have the stomach for the sight of horrifying death. You seems to be fine with it, you're much stronger at this than I am. Although it is ironic that I really like this military forum.

I did reply to you several times in the past, but you almost never reply me. It made me feel as if you are holding a grudge against me or something, I guess that's the rub. Anyways, I think I'm way off topic.
