The Spratleys Islands area are quite complicate situation, and especially when they were involving so many countries. Eventhough China, Vietnam and the Phillipines have formed cooperation of co-development, but it is just temporary arrangement so they could maintain some sort of peaceful environment.

There still are a lot of unresolve territories disputes, since everyone want to get as much as possible. Naturally no one want to be the first nation to take the first step for the "Give a little, and take a little altitude" which necessary to resolve things in diplomacy and negotication. If there are no serious commitment from all sides of party, things will go no where.

I sincerely hope they could work out final solution, and draw the lines of claims. But once in awhile there were always some sort of actions to undermine and challege the current status quo, so I don't see any immediately progress to permanent for resolution to the dispute in the East China Seas. Of course I remain hopeful that China and SEA Countries will eventually find a way to do so, there are just no need to go in war for this.
