Right now power shortage is almost eradicated with lot of projects coming online......& by 2020, the total power generation will cross more than 22k .... which will be quite enough for next 5 years...... but with under construction power generation projects which be online also in next 5 years would suffice for next decade....

Exactly, Pakistan current GDP growth is +5%.... & in next couple of years will cross to +7%....by 2030, Pakistan will be in top 20 Economies...

According to the China Economic Cooperation, the work of laying up 820 kilometers long fiber optic line from Rawalpindi to Khunjabab is going on.

Optical fiberglass project has great importance in the industrial and technical cooperation projects between the two countries. Special Communications Organization (SCO) and China's Hyau technology technology company are playing a leading role in the 820-kilometer long-term optical fiber line from Rawalpindi to Khunjab.

The longest part of the cable line is in Gilgit-Baltistan, where 466.584 kilometers long fiber optic line is being distributed, which makes 56.5 percent of the cable length, 287.656 km of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 47.56 km, and 18.20 km of the provincial capital.

With this project, a strategic line between the two neighboring countries will be created and also will be a revolution in the supply of telecommunication services in remote areas. The project costs $ 44 million and this project will be completed in 2018 this year.
