Were the authorities aware of the flooding or is this the case of unforeseen bursting of water not thinking that the flood water is going to sip through the subway systems and potentially trapping the unsuspecting public and worst killing some.
While there was record rainfall (200 millimeters per hour), the authorities still had ample time
To shutdown the metro train and roadways. This appears to be a massive oversight.

What happened? Please don't tell me that most of the passengers have perished?
Materiale things are replaceable, Human lives aren't. I hope all of them are safe and sound.
From leaked photos at least a dozen lives have perished. And that’s from photos of bodies alone. Loss of life, unfortunately, will be very large with this one.
