sorry, but could you give short summary for other users in the forum whose chinese isnt very fluent?
Shorter version: China (and frankly, pretty much across the world) are embroiled in cognitive warfare. And for the year of 2022, China is marching in the war - But in the backward direction.

Longer version:
Especially since the start of the war in Ukraine, the division and cracks between the people has been growing more obvious, as we have seen the public getting more and more polarized. This situation is made more chronic when people are using emotions rather than logic and rationality to analyse and interpret news and information - Classic examples being reactions we have seen from the public/netizens when the news of mass Russian retreat in northern and eastern Ukraine came out. Another regarding China's (in)action at stopping Pelosi's plane from landing in Taipei. Both of these are pretty obvious in this forum as well.

Besides, you have many news media who often accidentally or deliberately deceit, misled and/or even outright lying to the audience, sometimes using outdated and modified information, but in many instances, using outright lies and fabrication of fakes and incorrect information. This is because they do not have the ability to judge whichever information was factual or not; or they don't bother to; or they would rather chase after clicks, views and likes instead. WRT this, 标题党 (clickbait-titles-gang) is a very real and widespread phenomenon.

Other than that, you have a number of cheaters and liars who faked their resumes and background origins to get job positions in key national institutes, and even got interviews by major state-owned news media - All of that without getting proper background checks being conducted on them. There is even one instance where both the person who was reported and the person who was reporting the former are guilty of the above counts. This is very serious and critical as they have the huge potential of misleading the policies and objectives of governmental institutions and organizations, especially when it comes to national governance, defense and future.

Last but not least, you have those cybertroopers (which I believe stems from the 1450 and 50w armies) who have been embedded deep within the social fabric of the Chinese community, who played the role of either riling up tensions of the masses and assist in their polarization on certain issues, or deliberately spreading misinformation and slanders to confuse and misled the public, leading to the lowering of their objectivity and trust of the society and the government.

Wow, how can China be so bad at cognitive warfare? You’d think with state controlled media it would be easier. The US used the Ukrainian war to silence all deserving voices, China should do the same. are they really that bad? They ships ban all 1450 and 50w armies on social media. It’s China controlled, so should be easy. They need to step up their conductive warfare.

It's that one "person's opinion" and not an actual exhaustive study. It's his perception on the ground, but his opinion must always be balanced from the actual reality on the ground. What does he mean when he made the Pelosi example? Unless, he's suggesting that China ought to have acted with force i.e. Shooting Pelosi's plane down, then that's just nuts.

Chinese people ain't freaking robots who will all think in linear position with respect to all the pressing issues that confronts China because that's equally nuts and takes away agency from Chinese people that are comprise of Chinese individuals. There will always be people in China who will not see or buy into what the country is aiming for many reasons without American malevolent actions involvement. Most importantly, you ought to just chill the f.. K down. If China is fated to lose and disintegrate due to reasons x, y, z then that means the power that be was not upto the task and deserves all the blame and scorn of history. If the country is this fragile all simply because there's people that have different opinions (even stupid messed up opinions) don't mean jack squat if the root ideological base, confidence of the people remains vibrant, and strong. But if the ideological base and belief of the country is superficial and support of the government is purely based on what can the government can do for the country, and not what the Chinese people can do to protect the country from enemies within and without, then whatever calamity strikes China is fully deserved.

A passenger attempted an unauthorized entry into the cockpit of a Hainan Airlines flight from Beijing to Shanghai three days ago (January 3rd) as the plane is taxing from the gate. The flight was forced to be cancelled.

The passenger was successfully restrained by onboard passengers and cabin crew, and was later arrested. It is alleged that the passenger is suffering from mental health issues.

Interesting turn in this conversation between you're not average Chinese boy and somewhat typical American teens. The teens probably thought they could have bullied the boy but they were left somewhat impressed by the boy's composure and confidence.

The world would be a better and more peaceful place if people from different countries learn more about each other like in this video. In the end we are all humans, despite our differences. You can clearly see that this interaction challenged the American teens’ preconception of China and humanized “the other side”.
