It'd be pretty cool if, when J-15 numbers go up, they start flying new J-15s.
Approximately how much of the older J-11B fleet has been upgraded into the J-11BG configuration? It seems scramble.nl only shows a handful of BGs operating but certainly there should be more, right?
Batch 08 may have originally been in service with the upgraded standard, this is a photo of it at the Changchun Air Force Open Day in 2023.I agree ... not many: In fact there was a formerly unknown Batch 08 and otherwise I know some of the oldest Batch 01/02 (?) and of the naval birds Batch 03 & 05 have been modified. For more I need to check to be sure.

I noticed that the 07 or 08 aircraft seem to be numbered XX3XX, most of them were produced after 2017, perhaps these aircraft were to fill the gap in the 17 years when regiment expanded to brigades? (How many fighters should a normal fighter group be?)Yes, sorry in case I was misleading: We had Batch 01 to Batch 07 as regular J-11B and Batch 08 was built straight as BG
CCTV has released footage of the interaction between the Australian P-8A plane and the Chinese Flanker that intercepted it in the South China Sea.
That is from September last year, why are you posting it again now without signposting that it's old?
