Can anyone confirm this PLAAF paint scheme on J-16 is fake? I came across these pics long ago but just raising my suspicion just now. Apparently J-16 are painted with RAM coating, picked up by multiple media outlets and the images accompanied below are proving it.
I'm pretty sure this is the original.
Someone PS'd the images, turned plane into B&W except the surroundings and canopy glass. This was the time before PLAAF widely adopted the low-viz scheme but now we have plenty of low-viz PLAAF photos. It's inconsistent to the real thing. Wrong low-viz roundel, wrong colour of the engines, too dark, adjusted contrast etc.
