So that's a strange looking contraption,,, I suppose it gives you the ability to specifically target and select the number of weapons per pass, they surely wouldn't carry all that just for drag reduction....
now I scrolled down and found the confirmation that this is a practice bomb selector, for 4 units of practice bombs, so is it just for practice or could it carry SDB's??

This is really for practicing using computer assisted aiming to accurately drop dumb bombs.
The dispenser simulates the weight and drag of a much larger bomb.
The small practice bombs are to gauge the effectiveness of the drop.
With these, students can make 8 drops with 2 weapons stations used. It would yield significant savings in fuel and munitions costs compared to dropping 8 full sized practice bombs to get the same training effect.
The student should also be able to make all 8 drops in one sortie as opposed to needing several sorties with full sized practice bombs. So training efficiency would also be greatly improved from using these.

Thank you plawolf, that adds further to Trident's explanation, I just couldn't figure out why it was so large?
J-11 has been improved the fire control radar system and can launch domestic AAM.
