The source here saying China already had 3 batch of J16, I think more than 70.

Nanchang J-16 is 03 Batch; Chongqing Cangzhou is 02 batches; Ding Wuhu is 01 batches. Training took part at the Eastern Theater Airforce Aviaition Brigade on 17 July..
