Would that mean that after the plant for J-15 and J-16 was built the plant for J-11 was modernized? Then they took quite a lot of time for that modernization but perhaps also for training the personnel.

Actually I don't know if that theory is correct, IMO we simply have not enough info on how serial-production is managed at SAC.

Do we really know for sure that there is only one Flanker production facility? Or are there in fact two - one for the J-11B and J-15 for years, which was changed to J-16 and J-15 and now J-16 and J-11B, while the J-15T is prepared for serial manufacturing??

I'm almost sure that J-16-production is continuing in parallel.

You don' t mention J-11D, build ? can be delivered for when i have in my notes from ? 2018.
Seems logic the D replace B for production.
Last J-11B batch as you have say 2014 but also 4 years of gap bteween the 2 last JH-7A Rgt 2012 -2016... despite it he is replaced by J-16 coz no JH-7B finaly, different of J-11B... and i think J-11B production is finished.

For numbers build 1 plant build ( before 24 J-11B ) about 25 birds/year about 16 J-16 in general i see 50 normaly make sense only series and first in 2014 match... and about 8+ J-15 so the 25 birds i don't see mystery.

Pardon if I do not understand Your post correctly, and YES, the J-11D might replace the J-11B.

But fact is, these are J-11B, plain and simple not much (IMO not) different to the Batch 06 aircraft from 2014/15 so J-11B production is not finished and J-11D has not started yet.

The latest rumor (March 2017) claimed that the project has been delayed due to the full-scale production of J-11B and J-16.

I guess it's not about the production rate of flankers, but production rate of WS10B(or whatever new WS10). J11D should be installed this new engine, but the engine is not enough and J16 has higher priority.
