Yaaawn...Permanent Capital flight in China is a severe risk for some time. Bytedance CEO is apparently spending most time in Singapore (from TikTok's own US court filings). This follows news that Haidilao CEO has left China for Singapore.

Capital flight has been a "severe risk" eversince China had any wealth. Aaaannd, the result is China outgrew everyone \_(ツ)_/Permanent Capital flight in China is a severe risk for some time. Seems to be this thread and the China economics threads that attract a lot of doomers/trolls.Capital flight has been a "severe risk" eversince China had any wealth. Aaaannd, the result is China outgrew everyone \_(ツ)_/
Not a lot. Just a few masochist return customers.Seems to be this thread and the China economics threads that attract a lot of doomers/trolls.

Yes, China was able to grow and develop rapidly regardless of capital flight, but China could've experienced even more growth if capital flight hadn't been a problem. In the past decade, there was far too many shortsighted people among the Chinese upper-middle and upper classes that bought properties overseas and tried to send their children overseas. As this trend has reversed in the last few years as more and more people realize that it is actually better to stay in the country, "severe" capital flight is not much a concern for the time being. Nonetheless, it is still worth keeping an eye on in to ensure that the trend does not regress.Capital flight has been a "severe risk" eversince China had any wealth. Not what it seemed like you were trying to say in your last post.Yes it has been a risk, thankfully the attitude has changed largely for the better again.
That's how everyone judges himself. Others may have a different opinion. Not a doomer by any measure. However I am a realist.
@gadgetcool5 Is this your second account? This is the "second person" here to pretend to be on China's side with concern trolling, then attempt to assure everyone of his well-meaning by saying that he's actually a wumao everywhere else, as if that meant that the split personality should be treated leniently here.Outside this forum I am called too friendly/positive on China, even wumao, on this forum
And the point of your concern trolling is to... what? Alert the CCP officials reading this forum on what they need to work on? Because I need to highlight how wrong you are, otherwise.... everyone else will as well LOLI need to highlight some temporary setbacks otherwise no one else will
It's human nature; the same nature that generates wealth will be the one that chases it wherever it is. Nobody can achieve a nation where all the rich enterpreneurs make as much money as they can and immediately stop where it may be unnationalistic to continue. Every nation that has capital has capital flight and capital circulation. Only places like North Korea don't have this problem... and they don't have capital either.Yes, China was able to grow and develop rapidly regardless of capital flight, but China could've experienced even more growth if capital flight hadn't been a problem.
